Dentures

Dentures and partial dentures are removeable dental appliances with false teeth placed in an acrylic resin to replace missing teeth.  A full denture is used to replace all the missing teeth on either the upper or lower jaw.  If the denture is placed at same time as the teeth are extracted, it is called and immediate denture and will need to be relined about 6 months later.  A partial denture is use when the patient has some remaining teeth to attach the partial denture to.  These can be very rigid with a metal base and little adjustability; or they can be made of resin with more flexiblitity and adjustability.  Related procedures done in our office are listed below.
