Dr. Max has been doing orthodontic treatment for his patients for almost 25 years.  He has done hundreds of cases and has saved his patients about$1500.00/case on average vs. the costs at an orthodontist office.  We usually start orthodontic at age 10- 13 years old for girls and age 11 -14 for boys.  This allows us to work with their growth spurt and bone remodeling for a more stable results.  We does the following procedures in our office:

  • Fixed appliances (braces) are brackets bonded onto the teeth with a wire running the length of the bracketed teeth with small elastics around the brackets to activate the mechanism to move the teeth.  Increasing stronger wires are placed to achieve the desired results.
  • Removeable Appliances are retainer like appliances used to help correct problems with the bone supporting the teeth.  These can be used to widen the jaw, move the lower jaw forward, correct crossbite problems, etc.  These can be used to stimulate bone growth in young patients to correct jaw discrepancies.
  • Retainers – both fixed and removeable
  • Retainer and appliance repairs.
  • Harmful habits, like thumb sucking, can be corrected with treatment in our office.
  • Space maintainers to hold the space for a permanent tooth when a baby tooth is lost.  These can minimize and even eliminate the need for orthodontics later on.
  • Interceptive Orthodontics are done to fix minor orthodontic problems in children.
